Are delivery limits enforced when I book through the API?

Short answer. Yes. Quotes and delivery creation validate package loads on the server. Stored quotes are checked again before booking, and saved deliveries are checked before funding or restarting a search. Invalid dimensions or unsupported loads return an error instead of a new booking or wallet hold.

Best for
  • ✓ Custom checkout integrations
  • ✓ MCP and autonomous agent bookings
  • ✓ Reliable retries after a failed request
Limits and responsibilities
  • • A saved quote cannot override current load limits
  • • If the stored vehicle is too small, get a new quote rather than reusing its price
  • • Idempotency keys prevent duplicate creation; they do not bypass funding validation

How it works

  1. 01Validate package details locally for helpful form feedback
  2. 02Read the API error code, message and field details
  3. 03Correct the request and obtain a fresh quote when required
