Same-day delivery on Shopify in 10 minutes
The Shopify app adds a live 'Same-day by RentADriver' rate at checkout for customers inside your radius, books the driver the moment the order is paid, and writes fulfilment and tracking back to the order.
Before you start
- A RentADriver account and a live API key (free, self-serve at /for-agents#setup)
- A funded wallet and a verified email (a sandbox key works without either)
- Your store's pickup address inside a launch city (check /coverage)

Install the app
Install RentADriver from the Shopify App Store (apps.shopify.com/rentadriver) and approve the requested permissions.

Confirm the pickup location
The app reads your primary location and geocodes it into a service area. Fix the address in Shopify if the area shows as unknown.

Turn on the checkout rate
The app registers a carrier service named RentADriver. Your plan must allow third-party calculated rates; on Basic, ask Shopify support to enable it or switch to annual billing.

Pick a pricing rule
Pass-through (customer pays the quote, optionally ± %), a flat fee, or free above a basket value. Change it any time in the app settings.

Choose when to book
Book automatically when the customer chose the rate, always when an order is paid inside the radius, or only when you press Book. orders/paid triggers it; insufficient funds mark the order needs_funds.

Ship one order
Place a test order to an address inside the radius, pay it, and watch the fulfilment appear with the tracking link on the order timeline.
After the first delivery
Open the console to see the delivery move through dispatching, assigned, picked up and delivered, download the receipt, and set your brand on the tracking page your customer receives.
