Same-day delivery on WooCommerce in 10 minutes
WooCommerce connects through a webhook on paid orders and one REST call per order. The RentADriver Delivery plugin is on WordPress.org; the path below is what the plugin automates.
Before you start
- A RentADriver account and a live API key (free, self-serve at /for-agents#setup)
- A funded wallet and a verified email (a sandbox key works without either)
- Your store's pickup address inside a launch city (check /coverage)
- 1
Create a webhook
WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → Webhooks: topic Order updated, delivery URL your automation endpoint (Zapier, Make, n8n or your server).
- 2
Quote when the order is paid
On status processing, call POST https://api.rentadriver.ai/v1/quotes with your store address as pickup and the shipping address as drop-off; items map to size classes S to XL.
- 3
Book with the quote
POST https://api.rentadriver.ai/v1/deliveries with quote_id, external_ref set to the order number, and the customer's phone in E.164 for SMS updates.
- 4
Write the tracking link back
The response carries tracking_url. Add it as an order note to the customer, or to a custom field your emails use.
- 5
Register RentADriver webhooks
POST https://api.rentadriver.ai/v1/webhooks for delivered and proof_uploaded so the order completes itself; verify the HMAC header.
- 6
Request the plugin
Leave your email on the integration page to get the beta plugin, which replaces steps 1 to 5 with a settings screen.
After the first delivery
Open the console to see the delivery move through dispatching, assigned, picked up and delivered, download the receipt, and set your brand on the tracking page your customer receives.
