describe_product_capabilities
Explain RentADriver delivery services, integrations, payment flow, proof or driver participation. Returns public product information and documentation links, not live coverage, prices or earnings promises.
RentADriver exposes structured browser tools for coverage, delivery quotes and tracking. A connected assistant can use the same functions as the website, fill the visible form and return a result you can check on screen.
There are 9 browser tools across the site: three public discovery tools on every page and six actions offered when their corresponding interface and prerequisites are available. Search all browser and remote MCP tools with discover_product_tools, then inspect their inputs and access requirements with get_product_tool_details. Use full addresses and everyday choices such as “Small” and “Standard”.

Search RentADriver's browser and remote MCP tool directory. Returns five matches at a time with where to use them and prerequisites. Discovery does not grant access or execute the listed actions.
Read a discovered tool's inputs, access requirements and usage location. Browser tools include their JSON Schema; remote MCP tools include documentation and connection instructions. Does not execute the requested tool.
Every page · inspect a discovered tool and its prerequisites ↗
Read the same-day city-to-city presets shown above this page's quote form (neighbouring cities up to 160 km apart by road). These are route examples, not guaranteed driver availability.
Request a same-day city-to-city delivery quote (a neighbouring city up to 160 km away by road) and show it in the page form. Creates an expiring quote, without booking a driver or charging money. Use full pickup and drop-off addresses.
Check whether RentADriver serves an address and show the result in the coverage form.
Price a local package delivery and show the quote on this page. Creates an expiring quote, but does not book a driver or charge money.
Ask the person to confirm opening the current quote in the booking console. Saves a local draft; sign-in and final booking confirmation remain in the console. Does not book or pay.
Read the delivery status and estimated arrival currently shown on this tracking page. Open the recipient's tracking link first.
Your recipient tracking link, after loading
Open the city-to-city page and ask your assistant which route presets are visible. Then provide the actual pickup and destination addresses and the package size. The quote tool updates the form and shows the returned price and estimated schedule. It creates a quote record, not a delivery order.
“Get a same-day quote for a Small package from King’s Cross Station, London, United Kingdom to The Oracle, Reading, United Kingdom.”
Check the returned route, price and availability before planning the delivery.
Local quote review opens the normal booking console only after an explicit confirmation prompt. The new intercity tools read route presets and request quotes. They do not register an account, fund a wallet, change permissions or silently create a delivery.
Tracking tools return a short summary from the delivery already loaded on the recipient’s page. They do not expose the account’s other deliveries. Input validation, page lifetime cancellation and the existing API permissions apply to tool calls.
Need account-level automation? Read the remote MCP guide ↗The website uses document.modelContext where supported, with the existing pinned compatibility polyfill for cooperating assistants in other secure browser contexts. Native browser-agent access still requires native support, such as an applicable origin-trial token or testing flag, and a compatible assistant. The polyfill does not install that connection.
Developers can open a supported page and inspect the registry in DevTools. The tools below belong to the open page; this documentation page does not register demo actions.
const ctx = document.modelContext;
const tools = ctx ? await ctx.getTools() : [];
console.table(tools.map(tool => ({
name: tool.name,
inputSchema: tool.inputSchema,
annotations: tool.annotations
})));The API is still changing. Consult the WebMCP draft and Chrome’s imperative API documentation for current browser interfaces. RentADriver validates inputs itself and retains its own confirmation step.
They serve different connections. WebMCP exposes the tools available in the open website page. Our remote MCP server connects an authorised agent to the delivery API, including account workflows. You do not install the remote server to enable this page's browser tools.
No. A cooperating assistant needs access to the page and its tool registry. Native browser agents require browser support and their own integration. The compatibility polyfill makes the page API available to cooperating assistants; it does not give ChatGPT Desktop or another external application automatic access.
The current browser tools do not place live delivery orders or charge a wallet. The booking-review tool asks for confirmation before saving a local draft and opening the console. Sign-in, funding and final booking remain in the normal console flow. Annotation hints are not used as a substitute for that confirmation.
Three read-only discovery tools are available across the site: describe_product_capabilities, discover_product_tools and get_product_tool_details. Action tools follow the page and its state. Coverage tools appear on the coverage page, city-to-city tools beside a city-to-city form, and tracking only after a delivery loads through its tracking link. Booking review appears after a local quote. Navigating away unregisters the previous tools.
A URL alone is not a connection. The assistant needs an authorised browser integration or access to the page registry. RentADriver keeps the default same-origin boundary; an unrelated iframe cannot discover tools simply by embedding or fetching the site.
