Intercity courier between launch cities
One dedicated driver takes a package from Melbourne to Sydney or London to Birmingham today, tracked door to door, or a shared lane run at fixed departures for less.
The problem
Anything that has to be in another city today either goes on a plane with a courier at both ends or waits days in a parcel network. Neither gives one person accountable from pickup to handover.
How it works
- get_intercity_quote (or get_quote with service auto) with a pickup in one city and a drop-off in another
- Pick express, standard or shared; the quote returns departure, arrival and the tiered per-km breakdown
- A long-haul driver takes the run; you track the whole way including rest stops
- Proof at handover; 40 % of the driver pay released at pickup, the rest when you confirm
Tool: get_intercity_quote → create_delivery · Proof: Photo and signature or OTP at handover; chain-of-custody photo at pickup. · Price: Tiered per km from the origin city's tariff; Melbourne → Sydney from about AUD 600 shared, 990 standard, 1,240 express.
